Today was our last day in London and it clearly has been a very long day... we both can't seem to think of anything to write. I think it is about time we come home because we are just beyond exhausted now. We have been on the go constantly for over a month so we are in need of a well deserved rest.
We will start with the title of the post. Lauren has greatly impressed me with her up-and-coming Usain Bolt legs because everytime we leave a station (because stations are underground they have literally a Million stairs to the surface) Lauren powers ahead and runs up the stairs. So we will have to post the video of the first day of the trip when Lauren was wingeing about going up the stairs in KL to this incredible transformation of this current day.
We started the day off, like most days, on the tube which we have become masters of. Our first stop was the Tower of London were we managed to get 2 pound off our admission prices by pretending Lauren was a Uni student and had just lost her card, pure geniuses. We went into the Tower of London and had a decent look around for a few hours before heading out and catching eyes on the likes of Tower Bridge, London Bridge, that swirly tall building that looks like a female sanitary product and the Monument where I ran all 311 stairs to the top and all over again back to the bottom.
Afterwards we headed back to Oxford street to have a bit more of a look around and search for this damn Fulham top for the 10th time. After hating the crowded walkways and inconsiderate FOREIGN tourist we headed to the nicer and calmer Piccadilly Circus where we got some dinner from a nice Italian restaraunt and afterwards ended up here posting a blog.
Lauren has a new love in the form of a 4 story clothes/accessory store where once again being a student paid of as I'm entitled to 10% discount which rules.
Just thought we would let you know, but the person sitting behind us is looking at naked women and hes probably in his 50's which makes it a little more creepy and pervy!
Well its only been a day since our last post so this hasn't been a particularly long addition so we do apologise.
We are off to the hotel to watch Big Brother which is loads and loads better than the Australian version (everything is better than Australian versions over here) and then watch Zoolander afterwards because British TV is awesome.
Tomorrow is an early start so we have to be up by around 6 having breakfast at 6 45 then to the train station by 7 45 so when we arrive in Melbourne we will not be very happy travellers.
So until KL where we will post our last blog we hope everyones well and we will speak to you all then.

Black Boogers!
Hey everyone,
Firstly starting we will explain the title of this blog for you. We have spent most of the day walking all around London including the likes of Harrods, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Sqaure. After hours walking around and sightseeing in central London, we got back to the hotel and relaxed and I (Kristian) blew my nose and Black Boogers came out! Thats how dirty you get just walking around London. You know your In London when you have black boogers thats for sure.
Anyway our morning started off having a lovely brekkie at our hotel then we were off to Harrods. Just to let you all know we have been catching the tube everywhere and we actually find it pretty easy.
Harrods was pretty cool, very big and rather expensive. Walking past all the Versace, D&G, Chanel etc just killed me... but I knew it was the closest I would ever get to those designer brands.
After a little retail therepy we decided to get Starbucks and jump back on the tube to go to Buckingham Palace. Unfortunatly there wasn't changing of the guard today which sucked but we did get to see a whole bunch of dudes on horses wearing funny hats.
A chat to the Queen and a scone or two later we headed back to the tube and headed towards Westminster. When we got out of the underground we noticed it was pouring down with rain. Ofcourse we were only wearing shorts and t-shirts and we didn't have an umbrella. Luckily Lauren's thongs didn't have any grip on them so we ice skated all the way to Westminster Abbey in incredible time with some near-slips and almost broken bones.
We went in the Westminster which was quite interesting and had a bit of a look around and browse then slowly moved onto the gift store where we spent most of our time. Afterwards we debated whether or not to go on the London Eye due to the horrible weather and the risk of Lauren having a heart attack because we were so high above ground. We decided to skip the giant ferris wheel and go shopping again!
Piccadilly Circus was quite a bit better then Oxford Street mainly because there were not nearly as many people and the walkways were adequetly sized. We were forced to go back to our hotel just after 4 because both our feet were killing us but soon after we go to the hotel we went straight back out to Piccadilly Circus in search for food. It was all ridiculously priced so instead we looked for an internet cafe and thats where we have ended up now.
We will probably come back here tomorrow night so we can post our second last blog for our trip with the last being KL airport because I know they have free wifi which is aawwessommeee.
So thats it for now and we will post again soon enough but probably see you all sooner.

LONDON!
We are going to keep this short because we both have writer's block.
We left wigton this morning at around 9 30am after feeding our faithful 40 odd ducks and headed to Carlisle Station to board the 3 and a half hour train into london. The train ride went suprisingly quick which was good but I think the highlight was watching lauren sit there watching a DVD so silently then just randomly burst out into laughter whilst on a dead silent train. It made the trip quite good, Although the funniest bit was when she had 5 mintues to go in the movie (the last 5 minutes is the best bit) and the PSP died which I thought was funny. Until it happened to me that is.
So we walked to our hotel with two extremely heavy suitcases, two backpacks, a handbag and a camera bag. It was made easier that the hotel was literally right around the corner. The room is pretty nice, its got a full bathroom and a nice TV so we can enjoy watching plenty of Top Gear which Lauren has grown to absolute LOVE! (I may be exagerating?). After dumping our stuff we jumped in a cab to Oxford street which brings us to where we are now. We've had a pretty good look around now, Lauren has bought some shoes and I seem to be drawn to every London souvenir that is glass or in the slightest bit breakable.
We are just going to head out again and try and find something to eat at a reasonalbe price but who are we kidding, its London. We found an 10oz sirlion steak for £22.95 ($43ish) so it looks like Greggs for dinner! Although we haven't even seen one yet so im a bit disappointed. Then again I've had 3 today already so I shouldnt be looking for more.
We wont have much of a chance to post many more blogs because we dont have internet where we are so any chance we get we will post one at any internet cafe we can find.
Tomorrow we are heading out to Harrods then onto Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey and surrounding areas.
So we are off to have a bit more of a look around now so stay safe and we will post again soon,

Sorry...
Hey guys,
Sorry for not posting on here for a few days, we are in Wigton and don't really have any internet access. Luckily there is a library here so we have managed to jump on one of their computers to update you all on how things have been going.
We had a blast in Scotland and want to go back there ASAP.
Wigton is lovely, it is so nice and peacefull... plus it is so nice to finally relax a bit after walking miles and miles around Edinburgh.
The other day Eric (Kristian's Granda's brother) and his wife Dorothy took us up through the Lake District which was just beautiful. We had a nice wonder round Ambleside (which mum you would have just loved), saw some lakes and nice country side..... I may have fallen asleep in the car once or twice (or six times?)... but I am like a baby, put me inside a nice, warm, comfy car and I will fall straight to sleep.
Today we went shopping in Carlisle which was nice. There were plenty of shops to look in and we did buy a few little bits and pieces. Kristian finally had fish & chips which he has been dying for ever since we landed in the country... the wait was worth it though... he had a MASSIVE plate full. One thing we noticed in Carlisle, like most places, had an abundance of Greggs! Like they were just everywhere tempting Kristian to give up fish and chips for lunch and just go eat a dozen steak bakes.
Tomorrow we leave here unfortunatly and head off to London for the last couple of days of our trip. I think the thing that will miss us the most (apart from Aunty Marion's love for standing on Lauren's toes) is our best friends the ducks at the pond that we have been feeding twice a day. It starts off with just 2 or 3 ducks then they call out to more and more and soon enough there are over 40 ducks standing around our feet and biting our fingers (Kristian was trying to make one bite my tiny white bread-like toes). We also made friends with a little duck and may ducknap it and take it home with us (Im hoping Larry/Lulu can get used to his/her new friend).
Well we will hopefully post another blog tomorrow night when we arrive in London assuming our hotel has wifi.

Intermission
Hey guys
Sorry we haven't typed a proper blog lately, we have been soaking up the sights here in Edinburgh.
Yesterday we walked up half a mountain to Edinburg Castle. The castle was very historical but I personally found it a bit of a let down compared to the Tower of London. But don't get me wrong it is such an amazing place with spectacular views of the entire city.
After visiting the castle we walked down the Royal Mile which is where Kristian finally found his kilt. You will all be very impressed with what he is coming home with.
After a full day of exploring and shopping for kilts we were pretty exhausted so we headed back to the hotel for a rest before dinner.
Today was our last full day which we are a bit shattered about because we just love it here. So because we had done so much sightseeing the past couple of days we decided today would be dedicated to shopping etc.
Turns out Kristian has bought quite a lot of stuff so it will be interesting to see how good his tetris skills are when it comes to packing the suitcase!
Well we will post a proper blog tomorrow when we are on the train because we are incredibly tired tonight and just want to sleep.
So we promise we will post a longer one tomorrow.

Loch Ness
It's been over 24 hours without a steak bake, its 7 20pm and gregg's shut at 5pm. I don't think I'll make it through the night…
Apart from that we started the day at 6 55am to get ready for our tour of the highlands and loch ness. We had breakfast and walked across the road to where we were getting picked up. The bus was just over a minute late giving Lauren time to think it wasn't coming and that we'd miss out on the tour, fortunately one minute after scheduled it arrived.
The first stop was a little cafe where we met hamish, a posing 70 year old highland cow with a fringe larger than what you'd see on an emo at flinders street station. We would have liked to put some photo's in this blog but I'm still on my phone so tomorrow we are heading to an Internet cafe to post some.
After meeting hairy Scotland's next top model hamish, we drove through Glen Coe (also known as Glen of the weeping) which was a town around the 1600's that was a destroyed by massacre when they were attacked in the black of night by a group of men seeking hospitality in their town.
Around 12 30pm we stopped for lunch in Spean bridge home to the most expensive fish ($24 per piece) and most intense 70 odd year old Scottish woman selling it. We opted for the slightly cheaper chips and bacon sandwich ($6) but still just as good.
Shortly after we hit the highlands which are absolutely stunning with cloud tipped mountains and great mile spanning loch's. It is a truly stunning geographical area. (again we will add a few pictures tomorrow).
We arrived at Loch Ness around 1 30pm and had a quick look around before we jumped on the boat that took us up the Loch for an hour. It was such a good experience cruising up a piece of water that you are so often told about in your younger years and still presently reminded of every now and then. We got a few good pictures and it turns out the Loch Ness Monster was smaller and fluffier than we both thought and was sitting in my hood the whole time (and only cost £2.40 at the gift shop). An interesting thing about Loch Ness is that the water is a dark brown as opposed to clear as seen in most lakes (and possibly the reason why the loch ness monster can remain hidden?).
After seeing Loch Ness we headed further north circumnavigating the Loch itself and taking a quick tour through Inverness which is the biggest northern village of Scotland with the furthest north British railway station. It was a nice place then from there we headed south back towards Edinburgh.
Our last stop of the tour was pitlochry, a small village about an hour and a bit from Edinburgh itself. Our journey back to Edinburgh was quite nice passing some amazing scenery and the more iconic Scottish railway bridge considered one of the greatest engineering feats of Europe.
Getting back to the hotel was nice after doing over 600km's today.
We will be posting up photo's tomorrow so you can see them soon.
Well it's bed time tonight so we will update again sometime tomorrow.

Edinburgh
So yesterday was a bit of a sad day for us because it was our last couple hours in Yorkshire. We have both really really enjoyed ourselves and we realised that one week was just not enough.
We woke up yesterday with the horrible chore of re-packing our suitcases to fit everything in and went on to search the room the room for anything we had left behind (we had not left anything behind at any other destination) but it wasn't until 8 hours later that we found out we forgot our England phone's charger!
After a tearful farewell to Angie at Doncaster station, we jumped on the the train to Edinburgh in first class which was really nice. Massive reclining chairs with your own power point and free wifi for the whole 3 and a half hour trip. The train ride was very nice itself compliment by the stunning English and Scottish country side. We got into Edinburgh at around 2pm and went straight to get a taxi to our hotel. The taxi driver was awesome, it was the first real thick Scottish accent we had heard and boy was it thick! He was nice though, drove straight past the hotel but gave us a quick run down on what to do in Edinburgh which was helpful. We checked into our room at Frederick house hotel and it is a very nice room with queen bed modern bathroom and even a mini fridge which has been Very handy! After settling in, we went out to get something to eat because it was 4pm and we hadn't eaten since 9am. Before I go on I'm not sure if I've mentioned gregg's? Well gregg's is a chain bakery that are (unfortunately) exclusive to the UK and they sell these things called 'bakes'. They are basically a flat pie that come in steak, chicken and ham and cheese. I can confidently say that are one of the greatest things I have ever tasted, made better because they are only £1 pound. I was first introduced to them in York when Joe (a legend for doing so) introduced me to a steak bake which ignited this love affair. Since then I've just about hit double figures. Enough about food, after getting a steak bake we went down rose street which is a 4 section street filled with cages and shops so we spend the rest of the night looking around there until we headed back to our hotel.
The next day we set out to explore new town Edinburgh. We went down to princess street which is the centre line of Edinburgh dividing new town and old town. We did a bit of shopping before I went up the Scott monument which is a towering monument on princess street. It was absolutely fantastic, it was split into 4 sections each section going further up the monument allowing you to get a better view of the city. There was one continuous spiral staircase all the way to the top with just under 300 stairs to the very tip. Although it so small at the top at one point I was ducking with both shoulders touching the walks climbing up the almost ladder like staircase. When we get to a proper computer I'll post some photo's hopefully.
Afterwards we went out and checked out edinburgh's biggest shopping centre but it wasn't that impressive only except it had a gregg's so I got a steak bake. After a while walking and 1 wrong turn later we got to calton hill which the Nelson monument and national monument (we will post photo's so you can see what they are) but that were very impressive. Calton hill also had spectacular views of the city where you could see out as far as the eye can see. After that we just went back down the princess street and did a bit more shopping and looking around.
Tomorrow we have booked a 12 hour tour that runs north of Edinburgh into the highlands to see castles and areas where massacres occurs and the likes. But I think mist importantly we are going all the way up to loch ness and taking a cruise in the hope of spotting the oversize fish! Well actually it is a prehistoric sea creature and we are on a mission to find it. After conquering the best we are taking a quick look at Inverness which is scotlands 3rd or 4th largest city.
So we will post after we get back at around 8 30pm London time tomorrow and hopefully uploads some photos the day after.

P.S if there are spelling mistakes or something doesn't make sense it's because I'm on my iPhone and it's really difficult to edit so I do apologize, I promise I'm not that illiterate!
We woke up yesterday with the horrible chore of re-packing our suitcases to fit everything in and went on to search the room the room for anything we had left behind (we had not left anything behind at any other destination) but it wasn't until 8 hours later that we found out we forgot our England phone's charger!
After a tearful farewell to Angie at Doncaster station, we jumped on the the train to Edinburgh in first class which was really nice. Massive reclining chairs with your own power point and free wifi for the whole 3 and a half hour trip. The train ride was very nice itself compliment by the stunning English and Scottish country side. We got into Edinburgh at around 2pm and went straight to get a taxi to our hotel. The taxi driver was awesome, it was the first real thick Scottish accent we had heard and boy was it thick! He was nice though, drove straight past the hotel but gave us a quick run down on what to do in Edinburgh which was helpful. We checked into our room at Frederick house hotel and it is a very nice room with queen bed modern bathroom and even a mini fridge which has been Very handy! After settling in, we went out to get something to eat because it was 4pm and we hadn't eaten since 9am. Before I go on I'm not sure if I've mentioned gregg's? Well gregg's is a chain bakery that are (unfortunately) exclusive to the UK and they sell these things called 'bakes'. They are basically a flat pie that come in steak, chicken and ham and cheese. I can confidently say that are one of the greatest things I have ever tasted, made better because they are only £1 pound. I was first introduced to them in York when Joe (a legend for doing so) introduced me to a steak bake which ignited this love affair. Since then I've just about hit double figures. Enough about food, after getting a steak bake we went down rose street which is a 4 section street filled with cages and shops so we spend the rest of the night looking around there until we headed back to our hotel.
The next day we set out to explore new town Edinburgh. We went down to princess street which is the centre line of Edinburgh dividing new town and old town. We did a bit of shopping before I went up the Scott monument which is a towering monument on princess street. It was absolutely fantastic, it was split into 4 sections each section going further up the monument allowing you to get a better view of the city. There was one continuous spiral staircase all the way to the top with just under 300 stairs to the very tip. Although it so small at the top at one point I was ducking with both shoulders touching the walks climbing up the almost ladder like staircase. When we get to a proper computer I'll post some photo's hopefully.
Afterwards we went out and checked out edinburgh's biggest shopping centre but it wasn't that impressive only except it had a gregg's so I got a steak bake. After a while walking and 1 wrong turn later we got to calton hill which the Nelson monument and national monument (we will post photo's so you can see what they are) but that were very impressive. Calton hill also had spectacular views of the city where you could see out as far as the eye can see. After that we just went back down the princess street and did a bit more shopping and looking around.
Tomorrow we have booked a 12 hour tour that runs north of Edinburgh into the highlands to see castles and areas where massacres occurs and the likes. But I think mist importantly we are going all the way up to loch ness and taking a cruise in the hope of spotting the oversize fish! Well actually it is a prehistoric sea creature and we are on a mission to find it. After conquering the best we are taking a quick look at Inverness which is scotlands 3rd or 4th largest city.
So we will post after we get back at around 8 30pm London time tomorrow and hopefully uploads some photos the day after.
We are off to bed now so have a nice day in Australia,

Last day in Yorkshire
So today is our last day here in Yorkshire and to be honest I don't think we are ready to leave quite yet. We've had such a great time and we are going to miss everyone so much. Kristian is going to miss Angel who last night told him they were going to be best friends forever... how cute!
Yesterday we caught a couple of buses with Joe and his girlfriend Nat to a place called Xscape. It is a big complex with amusements, laser tag, bumper cars, glow in the dark 3D mini golf etc etc. It also has its own snow slope!
After a nice day out we had a meal at this place which was really cheap. £5.99 for steak and chips... which works out to be around $12.00 australian. Plus the meals were a decent size.
Today we caught the train into Leeds which was good. It was quite busy compared to all the other places where we have been. It also reminded us of Melbourne, especially the train station which looked very similar to Southern Cross Station back home.
Tomorrow morning we are off to Scotland which we are really excited about, considering we both have never been there before.
The train shouldn't take to long, a couple of hours I think... give or take.
Not sure what internet access will be like up there but we will try and get on a computer when we can.
We are off out for dinner tonight with everyone which will be good.
Anyway this is one of the most boring posts ever, plus I should start getting ready for tonight.

Sickness, Barnsley and York
Once again we haven't posted a blog for a couple of days but that is mainly due to sickness and being out and about.
It began at 4.30am Monday morning, it ended about 9.00pm Monday night.
I must have ate a bad pizza or as dad has stated I am on the "Yorkshire 7 day diet".
After a full day in bed and being sick I (Lauren) am finally better.
Yesterday we went into Barnsley for the day... and finally we have started buying ourselves things. Some of you would be pleased to know Kristian has FINALLY bought himself a new pair of shoes.... a miracle has happened!
We had a further look around Barnsley that day and bought some more bits and pieces but it felt good to finally spend money, as weird as it sounds. After spoiling ourselves, and having my (Kristian) 13th slushie for the trip, we went to a little place that just out of wakefield that had an aquaduct that was used as the model for the design of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and suprisingly it had some very good similarities. I'll try and post a picture but I think I only had taken video of the bridge but I'll find a way to get a picture.
So today we went off to York which is about an hours drive from where we are staying at the moment, although with michael schumacher at the wheel, it was an exhilirating drive. York is a very Ye Olde historic town but has some beautiful laneways and scenery to take in. We started by walking around the city walls that lead into the main district after driving around in circles for 30 minutes looking for somewhere to park. We will post a few photos hopefully of the laneways in York to show you what they were like with most buildings still standing from the 1400's.

After having a look around we went up Clifford Castle which was situated, like most castles, high above the city so as you would assume once you climbed to the top is was quite a distance above the ground with a nice view of the city. I should have known from the Petronas towers in Malaysia that Lauren would freeze in fear, but I had forgotten. So the moment we got to the top all i heard was a squeal and 'I want to go down, I dont like this, I want to go down! ect'. It was a good looking castle and you were actually allowed to go to the very top which was really exciting.

We had a further look around York after the castle, had a pint at the Guy Fawkes Inn (which was a massive highlight for me as my favourite movie is based on him) then decided to do a ghost tour which we were told was more humorous then scary. It started by a tour guide stealing £5 from us all then led us round to various locations around the city where there had been previous ghost sightings. But the highlight of the tour was when the tour guide wanted to have a bit of fun with us, so he walked us across the road to a restaurant and pretended to tell us a ghost story and on his mark got the whole group of 50 people to wave at the people in the restaurant. As soon as we got a wave back he walked us across the road to directly infront of the restaurant and got everyone to pull a face at everyone in the restaurant while they were eating. Most people laughed and got a chuckle out of it apart from this one women who was not very impressed and glared everyone down that stared into the window. Not happy JAN!

So that was basically what happened in the last couple of days, I tried to write a blog last night but it stuffed up and I lost it so this one has been kind of long.
We will try and post another tomorrow after we head out to Xscape which is an indoor entertainment complex that even had a snow slope so we are excited.
So have fun at work everybody because we are going to bed now because its 11pm at night.

Hey guys,
We heard that SCMC were awaiting a new blog post, so we have decided to post some photos on here aswell.
We are up in Yorkshire at the moment, and we are having a great time.
Today is Freddie's birthday party which is going to be fun. There is a jumping castle in the back yard, and there is about 35 people coming around shortly.

Last day in Caister (including 4 days summary)
We have been a bit slack the last couple of days and have not posted anything recently.
After hearing complaints about lack of posts,I (kristian) will give you a run down on whats been happening the last couple of days.
Tuesday: To think back all the way to tuesday was quite an effort actually, some serious brain storming was done and this is what we can remember.
Tuesday we started the day with a trip to Potter Heigham where you could drive these little boats up and down the broads which was quite good to do although they were limited to 5mph which was a bit of a drag when it came time to overtake another boat.
After our high speed boat adventure, we went to get something to eat at the little cafe right next to where the boats where were we tried our first (and certainly not last) bap. Weird name but delicious with bacon and egg, for everybody that doesnt know what it is its basically a soft burger bun. After brunch we made a purchase of an item that will make up some of my melbourne arrival outfit to go with my kilt hopefully with every piece of clothing representing each part of our trip.
Soon after we headed out for Norwich which is basically a city centre for eastern England and is massive in size with the Norwich Castle situated right in the heart of the city. Due to the over population of England, we jumped on a park and ride to encourage people to leave their cars out of the city and catch a bus in, although when our bus arrived it was blowing smoke and leaking oil which is generally not a good sign. After waiting for another bus, we arrived in Norwich and it is just about the size of melbourne itself! Norwich castle is the centrepiece of Norwich so we decided to go in and have a look around and do a dungeon tour. It was pretty amazing to see the dungeons and the areas where they would leave prisoners and just forget about them in places where there was no natural light and no way of anyone knowing you where down there.
We had a further look around norwich and all the shops discovering DVD's and games are incredibly cheap over here along with most other things here.
Although there are exceptions like the $9 apple juice in our hotel in heathrow!
Wednesday: Wednesday started with us going down to Yarmouth front once again and spending a dollar or two on the arcade machines once again growing our selection of prizes. After a few hours looking around we went to Pleasurewood hills which is a theme park just about 15 minutes drive from yarmouth. We got into the theme park and fast walked straight to the go karts where typically Lauren and I have competition between us. As we got there already laying smack talk onto each other we read it was an extra $6 each to have a go on them when every other ride was covered by the wristband we bought. In protest we went on the slightly slower dodgem cars which turned out to be a bit of fun for me but for lauren being my passenger understandably not as pleasant (bit of a sore neck afterwards). One more notable thing about pleasurewood hills was the circus we saw, rather a bunch of random acts with one being a 40 something year old guy doing bmx tricks and constantly messing his tricks up.
Thursday: Im leaving Lauren to write the rest of this because im going to go watch golf.
So Thursday, we went to Burgh Castle which isn't to far from Caister. It was built by the Saxons in around 280 AD, so it was a pretty amazing place to see and be near.
After a walk around the ruins we went to a very old cemetery. It was very interesting place to have a wonder round, I found a grave of a little boy who had been dead for about 121 years, it was sad to think that probably none of his relatives know he even existed. Though he passed away at the age of 11, some people lived up to the ages of around 86 in the 1800's.... I can't imagine how it would have been to live back in those days.
So basically we had a very interesting day and learnt quite alot.
Today/Friday: Today is our last day in Yarmouth, we are off up to Angies in Yorkshire tomorrow which we are both looking forward to.
This morning Nanny took Kristian down to her gym so he could go for a swim while I sorted out my suitcase - it is still looking like a bomb has hit it.
When he got back we went into Yarmouth for a last look around and to spend a little bit of coin at the amusements.
Kristian had some market chips, and I got a Thorntons ice cream which was yummy
Tonight we are going out to dinner with Nanny, Grandad, Nanny Cathy, David and Deni to Church Farm which is right near Burgh Castle, so that should be good.
Anyway I am also over typing now, plus I best go get sorted before we go out for dinner shortly.

Raining
Hi all,
After the past few days being lovely ofcourse we were due for a crappy today.
Its about 18 degrees today and raining.
Grandad took us to ASDA and TESCO today... Dad, we got you some buttons so you can relax now.
Once we looked around the supermarkets we realised how shit australian supermarkets really are. The variety at the supermarkets here is honestly amazing. I could have honestly spent a fortune in there, especially on all the cadbury products that we don't have back at home.
Later on in the afternoon we went down Yarmouth front, had some lunch and played on some of the amusements but it became to wet so we came home.
We have started to sleep a bit better, we only woke up once this morning at around 6.30am for about 5 minutes which was good. By about 9.00pm we are pretty tired, though it is 4.40pm at the moment and I could easily go to sleep for the evening.
Not to sure what we will be doing tomorrow, it all depends on the weather really.
Oh last night we went to Pizza Hut for dinner with Nanny and Grandad, and it was soo much nice than back at home.
After dinner we went to David (Nanny's brother) and Deni's house for a drink which was nice. On Friday night we are going out for dinner with them, Roger, Marion etc which I am looking forward to.
Anyway I think I may go and have a snooze for a bit, Im quite tired really.

Casiter
Hi ya
After a long 13 hour flight yesterday we are finally in England.
We made it to our hotel very easily, when we did get there though we were soo hungry so we had to get room service as there was nothing around our hotel. It was quite expensive but we had no other choice.
At about 8pm we crashed so we decided to go to sleep, ofcourse we woke up quite alot because of the time zone changes. We were up and awake by 6.30 am so we decided to get a move on and head towards Liverpool street.
The underground is very easy to understand, and the trains come so often.... unlike melbourne.
We got to Liverpool street station at about 8.30am, our train to Norwhich wasn't until 10.30am so we had 2 hours to kill. We had maccas for breaky, which was quite cheap actually.
We got to Norwhich at 12.30, the train only took 2 hours which seemed like nothing compared to the 13 hour flight yesterday.
So we are at Casiter now, and its lovely. Its a nice 30 degrees here today, but with a nice cool breeze. I think we are going out for walk to the beach now, which will be nice.
Nanny Cathy is coming over for dinner tonight, so that will be good.
Anyway that is about it for now, I am a bit tired and struggling to write to be honest even though it only 3.16pm.

So we are at Casiter now, and its lovely. Its a nice 30 degrees here today, but with a nice cool breeze. I think we are going out for walk to the beach now, which will be nice.
Nanny Cathy is coming over for dinner tonight, so that will be good.
Anyway that is about it for now, I am a bit tired and struggling to write to be honest even though it only 3.16pm.

KLIA
So we are sitting in the departures lounge in KLIA waiting to board but the plane has been delayed by an hour due to a toilet problem, I guess they better fix that because we have a 13 hour flight on our hands and things may get messy if there is an 'issue' with the toilet. Although I (kristian) generously figured out how to get onto free wifi in the lounge so we are no longer bored!
It's pretty sad to be leaving KL (besides the fact we found a theme park, more on that later) because we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
After our post yesterday we had about 2 hours to kill so we jumped on the train again and went to dang wangi (we mastered the train and monorail system) which placed us right next a rain forest reserve which you had to go though to get to the KL tower which is quite a spectacle itself. After 400 stairs and one grumpy girlfriend later, we found ourselves at the bottom of the tower and also food for mozzies.
We jumped back on the train to KLCC and waited to get up the petronas twin towers which was quite good that we got tickets! The lift took 41 sends for 41 floors but as we got up there Lauren was frozen (literally frozen) in fear by the sheer height of where we were. We got some good photos and slowly made our way down. Upon leaving we found a can of Milo which had been premade which wasn't too bad and jumped on the train and monorail back to the hotel.
The greatest discovery of the trip just so happened to be the shopping centers literraly right infront of our hotel. We saved it for last because it just looked a little small and we had never heard if it. As we got in the front entrance we were greeted with 10 floors of non stop shopping with 100 stores per level! We though we would jump in the lift to get a scope if the place as we discovered just a subtle THEME PARK built in to the 5-10 stories of the shopping centers bit was pretty spectacular. We had a look around and found a few market which was a good place to spend the rest of our ringgit.
13 solid hours out we retreated back to our hotel to rest up for our 6am wake up which leads us finally to the airport.
We are just about to board now which is good finally. The reason this post is so long is that I am just sooo bored. Well we get to London in 13 hours so we will speak to you all soon enough.

Kuala Lumpur
Hey guys!
After a teary good bye at the airport and a flight that we never thought would end we are finally in KL.
Its very warm here, its about 26 degrees, but 90% humidity. So basically we are sweating like pigs.
Our hotel is veryyy fancy, we have a king size bed which is lovely, and the view from our room is amazing. We look directly at Time Square.
Stupidly enough our dinner on the plane was at 4.00pm, so by the time we got to the hotel it was about 1.30am Australian time we were starving!
As nothing was really open we ordered room service. We got a massive burger and wedges to share for about $10 australian.... which is quite cheap for room service.
Today we have gone on the monorail all the way to KLCC, although our first journey was in the wrong direction due to a newbie mistake. But we finally did make it to the Petronas Twin Towers which houses Malaysia's largest shopping centre. It makes Chadstone look like a milk bar.
We weren't going to go up the Towers because ticketing is at about 8.30am and they are very limited and you have to line up from 7am to secure a ticket. At about 10am we decided to go and have a look at the towers, we walked in and managed to get the very last 2 tickets of the day. How lucky is that?!
As I write this its 11.07am here, and we don't go up the towers until 3.45pm. So we still have a very long day ahead of us, since we have been out and about since before 8.00am this morning.
Our feet hurt, our legs are tired and its stinking bloody hot but it is so worth it. The people over here are lovely and so friendly. We have had plenty of people help us out without us even asking.
Oh, we got picked up from the airport last night by this nice guy who took us to our hotel, let me tell you there are no road rules over here whatsoever! In a 90km zone people usually go about 140km. They don't use indicators, we saw one person use them on an hour trip. We spent more time in the middle of the lane than actually in it.
So now we are off to find some lunch. I think I am going to have maccas because it is so cheap, its about $2 australian for a large meal!
MUM! You would be very proud of me... I ate the food on the airplane! It was BBQ chicken with potatoes. It was very nice =) but Kristian ate the rest because I filled up on bread rolls as always.
Thats about all for now, we fly out tomorrow at 10.05am so we probably won't post on here again until we get to England or to Nanny & Grandad's.

One More Sleep...
This was meant to be Kristian's turn to write something on here but he doesn't know what to write.
The one sentence he did come up with was "we're excited, see ya at maccas.... the end."
Oh but now he wants to say something..........
Just checked the Kuala Lumpur weather and its looking like itll be around 31 on thursday which is a nice change from the miserable 14 days we are having here. Our hotel has a pool we found out so it will be pretty good to go for a swim after trekking around the city and hopefully going up the Petronas Twin Towers. Although its sounding like we will have to be up and queuing for tickets by 6am if we want to get a ride up the towers.
I'm still in the process of convincing Lauren to go to Lego land hopefully but shes pretty adamant on not going labeling the place 'lame' and 'loserish' but I beg to differ...
Malaysia Airlines have some pretty good movies on while we head to Kuala Lumpur aswell with movies like the hurt locker, clash of the titans, date night, cop out, green zone and district 9. Two and a half men and all seasons of house are on aswell so ill be plenty occupied on the 8 and 13 hour trips!
Well next time we post will be in either Kuala Lumpur on thursday if we get to a computer or in Great Yarmouth on saturday so you will hear from us then =)
Lauren told me to say we will miss you all dearly but I think we will see you all soon enough but for now haha we're going on holidays and will have an awesome time (I don't mean to rub it in, Jealous?).
Stay safe and try not to call me because it will cost me a small fortune if my phone is not on airplane mode. Email is much preferred and we will check it (hopefully) every day so thats the easiest way to stay in contact. Our emails are in the first post down the page if you have forgotten them.

Two weeks to go
Hey all,
Just thought I would pop on here and tell you what has been happening the past few weeks......
So it is only two weeks to go until we leave.... we are very excited to say the least.
We went a couple of weekends ago and got a few bits and pieces for the rellies which was a nice day out.
And all of our money cards are done etc now which is great. Everything is paid for now so we just want to leave already.
We are running out of time to do things, 2 weeks is going to go so quickly... especially with lots of family things to go to.
Oh and if you were wanting to comment on our blog you probably can't because you need some gmail profile or something, so instead we were thinking of just putting our emails on here so you can contact us directly that way. It will be alot easier.

First post....
As you all know Kristian and I are going overseas in less than a month now, we are soo excited.
Cheers to Jennie who gave me the idea to do a blog for this trip. It is a great way for everyone to know how we are going and how much fun we are having.
I will try and post on here as much as possible... depending on our internet access ofcourse :)
Anyway I will post again closer to the date when we leave..... which is 7th July :)
